3. Matters Arising:

3.1 Feedback from conferences, meetings and events:

· The ‘Mind Out’ Campaign held a meeting which was linked to the social exclusion report. The group wondered whether employment may be added as a possible agenda item.

3.2 Announcements of forthcoming conferences and events:

· A meeting for the Mental Health Act is being held in February which will inform people of what the revised draft bill is to include.

· The Enmesh conference is taking place on…. One of the four themes will be on service user involvement. An information leaflet is available. Bursaries are available to support people travelling to the conference.

· CMHF leaflets are available to distribute and place on appropriate boards.

· The social Perspectives Network is holding a forum on Friday 30^th January. It is a group comprising of service users and researchers. The AGM and study day is titled ‘Modernisation and Social Perspectives.’

Janet has been busy trying to organise a regular venue. St George’s in Bloomsbury is available for £30 but is not free on Wednesday. The meetings may therefore change to the third Tuesday of every month at St Georges in Bloomsbury (on Bloomsbury Way).

The next meeting will therefore be on 17^th February at St George’s (to be confirmed).
